I think the others here who have said that this work CONVEYS emotion are only partially correct. For me, at least this painting EVOKES emotion from within me. Empathy from the times I've felt just like this, sympathy that makes me want to help, sorrow that another human's life is so wretched. Very seldom does my reaction to someone's art go beyond my opinion of whether or not it was executed well techincally. I have no idea what I think about your technique or media used or anything that went into creating this, and I don't care. The finished product moves me. Period.
